Documents Required during Physical Reporting


At the time of physical reporting, the student has to come with the following documents for verification purposes
  1. 1. 10th Marksheet/ Certificate (Verification only)
  2. 2. 12th Marksheet / Certificates (Verification only)
  3. 3. A copy of the reporting document (Verification only)
  4. 4. JEE (Main) Score Card / Olympiad / SAT Score card (as applicable) (Verification only)
  5. 5. Visa / OCI / Passport(Original, not photocopy) etc - For DASA Students (Verification only)
  6. 6. Admission / Allotment letter (Verification only)
  7. 7. Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate to be submitted
  8. 8. Signed Anti-ragging form to be submitted (Link will be provided)


Important Notes:

  • It is advised to bring copies of the required documents (alongwith originals), as getting printouts later may not be feasible.
  • Above mentioned "verification only" documents are not to be submitted


Necessary Items for College

Many of the things listed below will be available in the store on campus. Some things may be brought from home while other items may also be bought online after reaching here.

Items needed to be purchased (available at campus shop):


1. Mattress
2. Pillow
3. Bucket & Mug
4. Clothes Clips
5. Clothes’ Hangers
6. Toiletries (Soaps, Shampoo, Toothpaste, etc.)
7. Detergent Powder and Soap
8. Vim bar and scrubber
9. Small dust bin
10. Bathroom stool
11. Soap cases
12. Mosquito repellent, hand sanitiser, handwash
13. LAN cables (not required in 1st year)
14. All stationery items including notebooks and pens.

Note : All the above items will be available at M/s Sri Sai Stationers (Phone number of Mr Srinivas: 9866303312). These items can also be bought or ordered using quick commerce apps like Blinkit and Instamart, and there are a few supermarket stores and other grocery shops nearby as well.

It is recommended to buy the following items (NOT available at campus shop):

5. Water bottle

7. Light sweater/sweatshirt

10. A USB pendrive (>=8GB) (to flash for installing Ubuntu)
11. Coolers are also allowed in the summers. (can be rented in the summer , no need to purchase right now)

Cellphone Connections

Mobile connections can be availed from Indira Nagar, near IIIT-H campus. One can get connections from many cellphone network service providers, like Jio, Airtel, VI etc.

Bank Accounts

There is a branch of State Bank of India within the campus. It would be at the discretion of your parents or local guardians to open a bank account here. Again, it would be easier if you could bring some documents along with their photocopies and passport-sized photographs from home itself, as it may take time for college shops to provide the necessary documents. Additionally, there is an SBI ATM present on campus.

For any bank-related procedure, make sure to check in advance—either from home or by visiting a nearby bank branch—what documents and steps are required for the specific process you plan to complete.

Healthcare

There are multiple outlets of Apollo Pharmacy near campus (Gachibowli-DLF Road, Kondapur). However, students are advised to bring whichever necessary medicines as per their individual needs. First aid kits are present with hostel guards, and an ambulance is available on call.

The campus has a healthcare facility called Aarogya, which is equipped to handle basic medical needs. A nurse is available 24×7 to provide assistance, while doctors—including general physicians, allopathic doctors, and counsellors—are available during specified hours in the daytime. >In case of emergencies, an ambulance is available on campus to take patients to nearby hospitals and ensure proper care is provided promptly.

There are multiple hospitals nearby including Care Hospital, ARETE Hospital, and Himagiri Hospital. Care Hospital and ARETE Hospital provide discounts for IIIT-H students.
