Documents Required for Registration


At the time of admission, the student has to submit the following documents:
Please note, these are based on previous years' requirements, please regularly check your email for official updates.

1. 10th Marksheet/ Certificate / Date of Birth certificate

2. 11th and 12th Marksheet / Certificates

3. Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate

4. JEE (Main) Score Card / NTSE / Olympiad / SAT Score card (as applicable)

5. Visa / PIO / Passport etc (Original Passport will be returned back) - For DASA Students

6. Residential address proof

7. Admission / Allotment letter

8. Undertaking by the student and Parent / Guardian. (Will be intimated)



Necessary Items for College

Many of the things listed below will be available in the store on campus. Some things may be brought from home while other items may also be bought online after reaching here.

Items needed to be puchased (available at campus shop):


1. Mattress
2. Pillow
3. Bucket & Mug
4. Clothes Clips
5. Clothes’ Hangers
6. Toiletries (Soaps, Shampoo, Toothpaste, etc.)
7. Detergent Powder and Soap
8. Vim bar and scrubber
9. Small dust bin
10. Bathroom stool
11. Soap cases
12. Mosquito repellent, hand sanitiser, handwash
13. LAN cables
14. All stationery items including notebooks and pens.

In addition, the following are necessary (NOT available at campus shop):

4. Bathroom slippers/flip-flops

7. Light sweater/sweatshirt
8. Sports shoes and socks
9. Sports and Yoga attire (t-shirts, shorts/track pants, leggings)
10. Ethnic/ Special wear for festivals and events (White clothes for Independence Day)
11. Prescription medicines
12. A USB pendrive (>=16GB) (to flash for installing Ubuntu)

Cellphone Connections

Mobile connections can be availed from Indira Nagar, barely 1 km from IIIT-H campus. One can get connections from many cellphone network service providers, like Jio, Airtel, etc.
P.S: If you could bring some documents from home itself for getting your accounts opened it would be easier since it could take the college authorities some time to provide you with the necessary documents for the same.

Bank Accounts

There is a branch of State Bank of India within the campus. It would be at the discretion of your parents/local guardians to open a bank account here. Again, it would be easier if you could bring some documents along with its photocopies and photographs from your home itself for getting your accounts opened since it could take some time for the college authorities to provide you with the necessary documents for the same.
Additionally, there is a SBI ATM present on campus. Bank officials will be available on the day of registration for you to avail education loan.

Healthcare

A clinic is operational during daytime called Aarogya centre where doctors can be consulted, although there is no pharmacy inside the campus. An outlet of Apollo Pharmacy is situated less than a km away from the campus but students are advised to bring whichever necessary medicines as per their individual needs. First aid kits are present with hostel guards, and an ambulance is available on call. A discount is provided at nearby hospitals for IIIT-H students.

IIITH Intranet

Many campus services are available only within the IIIT-H intranet. To access these services, you will have to login with your student details (which you will be getting soon) in https://reverseproxy.iiit.ac.in/ , or setup the IIITH VPN at https://vpn.iiit.ac.in/ (instructions present in the page). You can now access internal IIITH facilities, including https://mess.iiit.ac.in/, which is used for managing your on-campus mess services, https://intranet.iiit.ac.in/, which gives general information related to IIITH, among others.
